Vitamin E (d-alpha-Tocopherol Succinate) 66 IU
The most valuable sources of dietary vitamin E include vegetable oils, margarine, nuts, seeds, avocados and wheat germ. Safflower oil contains large amounts of vitamin E (about two thirds of the RDA in ¼ cup) and there are trace amounts in corn oil and soybean oil. Vitamin E is actually a family of related compounds called tocopherols and tocotrienols. Vitamin E is available in a natural or synthetic form. In most cases, the natural and synthetic forms are identical except the natural form of vitamin E is better absorbed and retained in the body. Biotin can be found in food sources, such as egg yolks, peanuts, beef liver, milk (10 mcg/cup), cereals, almonds and Brewer’s yeast. Biotin is used in healthy cell growth, the production of fatty acids, metabolism of fats and amino acids. It plays a role in the Citric acid cycle, which is the process in which biochemical energy is generated during aerobic respiration. Biotin not only assists in various metabolic chemical conversions but also helps to transfer carbon dioxide. Biotin is also helpful in maintaining a steady blood sugar level. Biotin is often recommended for strengthening hair and nails.
Why is taking a vitamin supplement important?
A vitamin may be broadly defined as a substance that is essential for the maintenance of normal metabolic function, but which is not produced in the body and therefore must be consumed from a source outside the body. They are necessary elements in the process of converting food to energy and in the growth and repair of body tissue. Reduction of vitamin levels over extended periods can result in vitamin deficiency. These shortages may lead to symptoms, which can include loss of appetite and loss of body weight.
Why is there vitamin D3 in Calcium Plus and Isotonix Multivitamin?
Vitamin D3 has been added to the Calcium Plus and the Isotonix Multivitamin to facilitate the uptake of calcium. Vitamin D3 is initially activated further in the skin in the presence of sunlight and then it is activated further in the kidney and liver. Vitamin D3 is a hormone that can stimulate the production of calcium-binding proteins, which aid in transporting this essential mineral through cells. The 1,2,5-dihydroxy-vitamin D3 is then transported to critical sites in the body to facilitate calcium uptake. The intestine and bone cells are two of these critical sites. There are groups of people who are not out in the sun for significant lengths of time. Certain racial groups have significant problems in the higher latitudes, especially during the winter, in producing substantial amounts of vitamin D3 and subsequently taking up enough calcium. Even with intense phototherapy for those people requiring significant calcium nutrition, the blood levels of 1,25-OH-vitamin D3 are highly regulated.

My absolute favorite!
The Isotonix Multivitamin is my absolute favorite. The taste is beyond amazing!!! I actually find myself getting excited and looking forward to taking my supplements.
I used to never remember to take them in pill form. But now mixing my isotonix into a cocktail or taking them individually gets me pumped!

Multivitamin for multi people 😊 I started first with my 90 years old father and I saw the difference 😊now I’m taking it and my children start taking it every day before going to school we can see multi difference 😊There’s nothing more important for me than taking care myself and my family on a daily basis 👍 This is the best for the best people🤗
I’m someone who has some genetic issues that cause my body to struggle to absorb certain vitamins. Unfortunately, these issues also cause me to have low levels of those same vitamins. :( On top of that I’ve always had a hard time handling any pill form of vitamins. They make me sick to my stomach and certain ones have been known to cause me to vomit in the mornings. But I desperately needed the vitamins that I was deficient in. Enter Isotonix! This is the only vitamin I can take without discomfort. And my body is actually absorbing them because my levels are finally slowing going up. Yay!!!
